He Can Roll!

Luke has been able to roll from his back to his stomach for about a month and a half but not from his stomach to back...until now. This is him rolling to his back. He's not a pro at it yet. As you can see he can't quite figure out what to do with his arm. He does eventually get it out from under him but it takes a while :)

A picture right before Church.

And another one...

And another. Luke's hair doesn't stick straight up anymore so it's much easier to fix.

Luke loves to roll, even in his changing table. This is him right after he rolled. Don't worry, I was always close by :)

I love how you can see his little tongue wrap around the leaf. He love this leaf more than life itself. It's his favorite chew toy. And he always gags himself on it.

4 Month Checkup

Luke recently had his 4 month checkup. He now weighs 14 pounds 9 ounces. He is 25 3/4 inches long. He is still in the 80% for height but is now in the 45th percentile for weight. He's so active by rolling and kicking it slowed down his weight gain a little. But he is a healthy happy baby.

Luke only sticks out his tongue out of the right side of his mouth. He does this all of the time and it is so cute.

I crocheted this hat for Luke today. It was 7 degrees out and I wanted to make sure his little head was warm. I still need to make bear ears for the hat, which I think will make it so cute!

Luke doesn't have a coat that fits him yet but we wanted to make sure he was warm out in the bitter cold. This coat is for when he is a year old, which is 8 months away. It's a little big :) I cracked up every time I looked at him. The poor thing couldn't move his arms.

This melted David's heart when his little boy put his head on his shoulder and immediatley went to sleep. It was very sweet.

Last Two Weeks

My sister Shannon came to visit us this weekend and she brought her youngest son Titus. When she walked in the apartment the boys just smiled at each other. They were immediately friends :)

Titus was a little hungry. The side of Luke's head was soaked.

Took this picture this morning. I was noticing how much hair Luke has and how dark it is and wanted to take a picture.

Luke loves to chew on this leaf. He tries to put the whole thing in his mouth.

Cooing at his Mom

He is a lot more aware now. He likes to put his hands in our mouths.

The hat is a little too tight but Luke didn't mind.

Halloween

I got David this wig to wear for the Halloween party but he didn't wear it for long because it hurt his head.
I'm the Queen Bee

Carter and Luke are so cute in their costumes!

String cheese fingers!

Apple mouth

I was so excited about the dry ice punch. Pretty cool.

Momma bee and baby bee

Mine is on the left and david's on the right.

Luke loved the pumpkins

He was getting crabby so David held him while he carved the pumpkin. Luke loves chewing on David's finger.

New Toys!

Alabama doll is finally done! Can you tell which one I crocheted tighter?

This let's you know how big the dolls are. And Luke! He is getting big too.

I went on a shopping spree and got Luke a few things to keep him occupied. He is getting a lot better at holding his head up so I wated to get him a few things that would give him more practice. The pillow is behind him to prevent him from throwing himself backwards when he gets upset. Oh yeah, it's purple. Not intentional. The box was very deceiving. The "Actual Color" sticker was on the picture of the green bumbo seat. I thought it was green.

For the bouncer, he doesn't play with any of the toys yet, just chews on the seat. I think he will have a blast when he realizes there are other things around him way cooler than the seat, but for now, if he's happy chewing on the seat then I'm happy. He's also too short to jump so we put a blanket under him to see if he would do anything but he was still too occupied eating his seat.

Doing Things for the First Time

Luke loves being lifted in the air. We always get a smile out of him. (Don't you love the sports anouncers in the background? We were watching the FSU v. BC today. GO FSU!)

He absolutely loves playing with his daddy but I think David loves it more. David will sing to Luke and Luke will kind of sing back. Well his coos are longer when David is singing. It's so cute!

Acouple days ago Luke grabbed this toy on purpose for the first time! I was such a proud mommy. He is starting to focus on things around him instead of staring at the wall or ceiling all of the time. He likes to suck on anything that's around so mainly blankets. He gags himself a lot with his own hands. Today he kept gagging and gagging until I took his hands out of his mouth. You would think that he would figure it out himself. Poor little thing.
